- Teaching me fly fishing techniques on a field 🪰
- Teaching me how to fish for trout, fillet and cook them 🍳
- Teaching me how to grow food 🍅

- The endless tales about working down a mine ⛏️
- How to cook 'Ash' - usually corned beef 🐄
- Never letting me leave the house without a gift, even if it was just an apple 🍎
